"The Rock" is a very slow movie, which makes some scenes boring to watch, the first half an hour of the movie are more difficult to watch than a snail walking across a room. Throughout the movie it shows the "F.B.I." trying to negotiate to terrorist threat. The scene is an interesting opening to a military movie.

The movie opens with a military scene of someone visiting a grave. The plot to "The Rock" is a terrorist threat is made and "Stanley Goodspeed" portrayed by "Nicholas Cage" who works for the "F.B.I." must assist with the operation along side with the hilarious "John Mason" portrayed by "Sean Connery".

"The Rock" is another one of director "Michael Bay's" okay action movies.
